Master Settings reference lists
What the main Master Settings lists are for — skills, employment statuses, qualifications, languages, nationalities and financial years — and which ones other modules use.

| Skills | Skill name and description (both required). | The Skills picker when posting jobs and raising resource requests. |
| Employment Status | A status name. | Reference list. |
| Educational Level | A level name. | Reference list. |
| Qualifications | A qualification name. | Reference list. |
| Languages | A language name. | Reference list. |
| Nationality | Country names, capitals, currencies and phone codes. Countries can’t be added. | Country names throughout HRMS. |
| Financial Years | A label such as “2026-2027” and a country. | Reference list. |
To add an item, open the list, click the Add button, fill in the fields and click Save. Use the pencil to edit and the bin to delete.
Which financial year payroll uses
Employee status and employment type
The Status (Active or Inactive) and Employment Type (Full-time, Part-time, Contract or Intern) on an employee record are fixed lists — they don’t come from Master Settings → Employment Status.
